We’re a close-knit team of four developers looking for a UI Development Engineer to join us at Industrial Network Technology, a part of HMS. We're seeking someone who brings both deep technical skills and a strong sense of ownership – someone ready to play a key role in shaping our UI direction and contributing to the team as we grow. ABOUT THE ROLE As a UI Developer, you'll drive the design of responsive, intuitive web interfaces for industrial equipment such as gateways and wireless products. You’ll work closely with embedded, gateway, and wireless R&D teams to build smart, functional, and scalable web applications. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Leading the development of robust, logic-heavy Angular applications that drive core business functionality using TypeScript and JavaScript together with the team • Responsive user interfaces for web applications using Angular material • Advocating for clean, maintainable code with strong unit test coverage (e.g., Jasmine) • Collaborating cross-functionally to align UI with product and user needs • Introducing best practices and guiding others in UI architecture and performance improvements • Contributing across the stack, including backend functionality where needed • Using Git and GitHub for effective source control and team collaboration • Taking the initiative to elevate our UI workflows and tools together with the team • ABOUT YOU We’re looking for someone who not only builds great UI, but also contributes to how we work and grow as a team. You enjoy environments where you can take the lead, share your expertise and ideas, and make a meaningful impact. You’re excited by the idea of shaping not just code, but process and direction too. YOU MIGHT THRIVE HERE IF YOU • Have strong experience in web/front end development with an eye for detail and usability • Are confident in JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript • Are comfortable introducing and championing best practices in testing and architecture • Work well in team-based environments using tools like Git and GitHub • Have experience with hardware-integrated applications like gateways or wireless devices • Bonus: You've explored cloud services like AWS, and/or bring backend familiarity (C#/.NET or C++ experience is a big plus) WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK HERE We’re collaborative, low-ego, and always learning. Our Halmstad office is our creative hub, and while we prefer to work together in person, remote work a couple of days a week is an option. You’ll join a flat-structured engineering team of 35 where your input shapes decisions. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, drive initiatives, and play a pivotal role in how our UI evolves.
