Digital Training Specialist to Kollmorgen

As a Digital Training Specialist you will be a part of our Services Department which support our partners in our solutions through onsite assistance and training. You will work with subject matter experts such as application engineers and developers to gather information and create engaging training videos.
Responsibilities:- Develop and design technical training content for digital learning platforms.
- Collaborate with content owners, product owners, software engineers, and content writers to transform course content.
- Create multimedia content including videos, animations, and interactive modules.
- Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with learning objectives.
- Select, develop and maintain tools and processes for digital learning, moving beyond current tools like Camtasia.
- Explore AI and other techniques to create training material faster and in new ways.
- Maintain and update training videos regularly.
- Influence the content and structure of the role as it evolves.
Our training videos are used by application engineers, technicians, sales engineers, and project leaders from customers all over the world. An interest in culture and language will help you create great videos for all our users.
Who You Are:You are a clear and effective communicator with an interest in technology and education. You excel at simplifying complex topics and creating content that enhances the learning experience for users. Your structured approach and teaching skills make you a valuable asset in developing engaging and informative training materials.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:- Education: A vocational university diploma, bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge: Knowledge in creating training materials.
- Technical Understanding: Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them simply and engagingly.
- Pedagogical Skills: Ability to teach and explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- Project Management: Skills in managing content development projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools for content creation; knowledge of leveraging AI for content structuring is advantageous
