Expansion Manager Scandinavia to O'Learys Group

O’Learys Group is looking for a visionary and results-driven Expansion Manager to take the helm of our expansion in Scandinavia. In this role, you’ll lead the continued growth of our franchise network across both established and new markets, laying the strategic foundation for long-term success and profitability.

About O’Learys Group & Our Vision

O’Learys is a Swedish-born franchise chain founded in 1988 and operated by O’Learys Group. Today, we have over 100 venues in 12 countries and are on an ambitious path toward global expansion. The O’Learys concept brings together Boston-inspired food and drink, sports, and social games into one unforgettable Eatertainment experience.

Our mission is clear: To become the number one Eatertainment company in the world. We are a destination where guests eat, play, socialize, and create lasting memories — and we’re building a brand strong enough to attract the very best partners to join us in that mission.

About the role

As Expansion Manager Scandinavia, you will play a key role in executing O’Learys’ expansion strategy in one of our most important regions. Reporting directly to the CBEO, your primary mission is to identify opportunities, negotiate and close deals, and ensure the successful establishment of new units across Scandinavia.

This role requires a highly business-driven, dealmaking, and sales-oriented personality with the ability to work at a fast pace. A winning mentality, strong social skills, and the ability to navigate complex negotiations are essential. You will represent O’Learys with credibility and professionalism towards external stakeholders, while proactively building networks that enable sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute expansion opportunities in line with O’Learys’ regional roadmap.
  • Negotiate and close agreements that align with financial and strategic targets.
  • Ensure timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met throughout the process.
  • Present the O’Learys concept in a persuasive and engaging way to potential partners.
  • Continuously update the regional expansion roadmap with data-driven insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, business partners, and authorities.
  • Navigate regulatory processes, secure approvals, and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Identify risks in expansion initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Suggest improvements to processes, tools, and agreements.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a goal-oriented and sales-driven dealmaker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys closing successful partnerships. You are adaptable, professional, and credible, with strong communication skills and a natural ability to build trust.

You are:

  • Driven, competitive, and focused on achieving results.
  • An effective communicator with strong social and networking skills.
  • Professional and credible, with high integrity.
  • Brand-driven, with a genuine understanding of O’Learys’ concept and value.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and mobile, willing to travel and stay overnight as part of the role.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and partnerships.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

Preferably

  • Proficiency in Norwegian or Finnish.
  • Experience in expansion of multi-unit concepts or chain operations.
  • Experinece in financing solutions for third parties (e.g., franchisees).
  • Experinece within F&B, hospitality, or real estate industries.

Why Join O’Learys Group?

As Expansion Manager at O'Learys, you will:

  • Be part of an internationally recognized brand with bold ambitions.
  • Drive O’Learys’ expansion journey in a strategically important region.
  • Collaborate directly with the CBEO and leadership team.
  • Work in a dynamic, social, and fast-paced industry with enormous growth potential.
  • Contribute to sustainable, profitable growth and play a central role in our long-term success.
