Head of Network Development for BSH Northern Europe

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as the head of network development, you will be responsible for the purchasing of logistics services for BSH Northern Europe. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful contracting of service partners that are both cost effective and meet BSH’s high standards for quality and customer centricity. As a leader of the Network development team, it will also be your responsibility to train and develop the competencies of your team. Your success will be defined by: • The performance of the logistics service providers. • The success in the purchasing process (Cost, Quality, and compliance) for the department.  You will achieve these by: • Developing the purchasing strategy for Logistics services. • Effective execution of purchasing processes as per BSH standards. • Supplier management by having regular reviews, problem solving and close performance tracking. • Regular stakeholder engagement and communication. • Leading and coaching team members. • Target setting and tracking for responsible KPIs.  YOUR PROFILE • Broad knowledge of logistics and a deep understanding of purchasing activities within Northern Europe (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia). • Experienced in developing purchasing and material group strategies. • Experience leading a team. • Ability to develop and increase the capabilities and competencies within a team. • Good knowledge in office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, word), ERP systems such as SAP. • Strong focus on customer and ability to work with various stakeholders to solve problems and improve processes. • Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or business administration. • Fluent in English, Nordic language is a plus.   Application For more information about the role, please feel free to contact Giulio Acquisto, Head of Planning and logistics, giulio.acquisto@bshg.com .
