Your Role Saab Training & Simulation is the leading provider of high-fidelity training solutions for Live Simulation in the land domain. To continue driving innovation and growth, we are seeking an experienced and forward-looking Line Manager to lead our Procurement department. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and guidance to one Manager and oversee a dedicated team of 15 direct reports. You will foster a collaborative and high-performance environment that supports continuous development, ensuring your team has the tools, trust, and support needed to excel. Your key responsibilities will be: * Ensure alignment between departmental objectives and Saab's overall business strategy * Further develop and implement best practices, optimizing efficiency, quality, and consistency across procurement activities * Build strong collaboration and buy-in from stakeholders across functions and geographies * Report to the Head of Operations Training Systems and contribute actively as a member of the Operations Training Systems Management Team, working jointly to achieve company objectives The Procurement Department, comprising 24 professionals, plays a key role in both operational and strategic purchasing. The team drives end-to-end supply chain management, category strategies, and long-term value creation through strategic supplier partnerships. Procurement is positioned as a key business partner, contributing to cost efficiency, innovation, and resilience across the organization. Your Profile To thrive in this role, you are a relationship-driven leader with a strong commercial mindset and value-based leadership. You have a proven ability to inspire and guide teams, set clear priorities in complex environments, and lead by example. You communicate effectively across teams, cultures, and countries, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration. With solid business acumen and financial understanding, you keep both operational excellence and strategic objectives in focus. We are looking for someone with: * A university degree in procurement or supply chain management, or equivalent experience * Solid experience in purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial company * Proven leadership experience, ideally with both line and team management responsibilities * The ability to operate effectively at both strategic and hands-on levels * A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset * Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
