Your mission As a Hydraulic Designer, you will be involved in the entire process, from initial concept to final product follow-up and verification as well as continuous product maintenance, engaging with various sub and component suppliers. This includes everything from general rig functionality to more specific focus areas such as compressor and drill control for optimal performance and energy efficiency. You will have broad responsibilities, working with a diverse range of products, systems and components.  Our products are evolving and as we are moving further towards electric and autonomous machines, you will be an important part of this journey. Your work will often be project-based, collaborating with a cross-functional team. You will represent R&D in functional development and control strategies for hydraulic, air and water systems. You will contribute to product and basic development projects, enhancing the performance of drill rigs and implementing innovative solutions. Achieving goals and targets will involve continuous dialogue with colleagues and stakeholders, allowing you to influence how you plan your work.  Location The position location is Örebro, Sweden. Your profile To thrive in this role, you should have a genuine interest in technology and a desire to deepen your knowledge of the products and their applications. You demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, a structured way of working and take pride in successfully completing your tasks on time. This role requires extensive internal and external communication, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. You should have a documented academic background in a relevant field or a highly qualified engineering background. Several years of experience in fluid power, motion control hydraulics, or mechatronic systems are advantageous. A general systems approach is also necessary.
