IT Infrastructure Transformation Project Manager
At Husqvarna Group, innovation is at the core of everything we do — from robotic lawn mowers to connected tools, used all over the world. Behind these products lies a complex, evolving IT landscape - that we're now transforming, to meet future demands.
We’re looking for a curious Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Transformation Team, which is part of Shared IT and Security Services (SITS) in our Global IT Department in Husqvarna Group. The team are responsible for SITS transformation project portfolio and provide project and program management capacity for SITS portfolio project.
About this opportunity:
In this role, you’ll lead transformation initiatives that shape how our internal teams (including R&D and other departments) experience and use IT. Here, you’ll sit at the crossroads of technology, people and change, helping to design and deliver modern, global IT services that are secure, scalable, and ready for the future.
You’ll be leading IT transformation projects focused on infrastructure and end user services and security at the core. You’ll help shape core backend functionality as well as large scale implementations of changes to broad user groups — all while meeting security standards.
Your stakeholders are global, internal teams across Husqvarna Group. You’ll be working closely with departments like R&D, understanding their needs, translating technical complexity into business value. You’ll guide them through change, build relationships and trust, and make sure their voice is heard in every technical conversation.
And while technical solution and implementation is in the hands of our expert teams, your technical insight and ability to speak the language — of infrastructure, of Azure, of risk and security — will be crucial in making the right decisions.
Your role:
- Leading cross-functional IT projects (or programs) with a strong focus on future-oriented infrastructure and end-user services.
- Managing projects in a global setup with distributed geographical presence and a mix of internal and external project members
- Managing stakeholder relationships across the Husqvarna business — especially with R&D management teams and IT.
- Driving both the analysis of needs and the execution: from pre-study and business case to delivery and hand over to operation.
- Ensuring internal policies, architecture guidelines and IT security and compliance are part of every project.
- Contributing to the setup of our new transformation program group — helping shape how we lead and prioritize change.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners.
About you:
You are structured and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership. You thrive in fast-paced environments where trust is placed in your hands to make things happen and move forward. You have experience of managing a geographically distributed project team.
Also, you’re a people person — someone who shines in communication across all levels of the organization. You have a natural ability to build trust, gain buy-in and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes. Whether you're translating technical details into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences, or ensuring business needs are understood by technical teams, you’re the bridge that keeps everything connected.
Your skills and experience:
We do not expect you to come with a deep technical knowledge, but you should have a high-level understanding of infrastructure, end user and security services and a willingness to learn more.
What you’ll bring:
- Documented experience in project management, including financial follow-up, business case development and pre-study work. You know how to set up and establish a project from the ground up — not just manage it once it's running.
- Documented ability to lead agile projects as well as traditional waterfall projects
- Documented experience in project management, leading IT infrastructure projects, with a solid conceptual understanding of infrastructure, end-user and security services.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and change management.
- If you have experience of Organization Change Management (OCM) methodology and execution it will be regarded as a positive addition.
- University degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or Business Administration, or similar). Also holds a certification? A plus!
Location:
This role can be placed in Huskvarna or Jonsered (just outside Gothenburg), where you’ll be close to key stakeholders and IT teams. Travel between the different Husqvarna sites will be required from time to time.
And, with our hybrid working environment, you'll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week (50%).Your application:
Apply as soon as possible but no later than 2025-06-08. We apply ongoing selection and do not accept applications via email, due to GDPR.
