How you will make an impact:

Our customers look to you and the global design team to bring their currency and security design dreams into reality. You will utilize your skills, and develop new ones, to design our customer's currency or security products. You will design functional works of art that will forever be embedded into history.

In your role as a Banknote Designer at Crane Currency you will:

• Design Banknotes Create secure, visually appealing designs for new and existing banknotes. Develop design proposals and presentations for business.
• Create and prototype security features, ensuring their functionality and quality throughout the design process.
• Incorporate Security Features: Integrate advanced anti-counterfeiting measures into Banknote Designs to prevent fraud.
• Conduct Research: Investigate cultural and historical elements to incorporate into banknote designs, ensuring they are meaningful and relevant.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends in design and security to continuously improve banknote designs.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with government officials, security experts, and printing companies to ensure designs meet all requirements.
• Increase the quantity and efficiency of the design team output and ensure the quality, creativity and innovation of the team’s output are at the highest level.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• 3-5-year University level education and/or working experience within Arts & Crafts, Graphic design, Fine arts, Product Design or similar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing banknotes, security features and printing methods.
• Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in security software (Corvina, The One) and Adobe such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience in managing multiple work streams and meeting deadlines for customers and production through teamwork.
• Fluent in English, all other languages are a benefit.
• All candidates must submit a portfolio/personal website to be considered.
• Preferred
• Artistic graphic design talent with project management skills and a passion for learning and professional development.
• Experience as an effective communicator in design team collaborations, with strong interpersonal and graphic design skills.
