Junior IT Support Technician (Consultant Role)
On behalf of our client, Linköpings kommun, we are looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join the IT department LKDATA. The assignment is full-time, with the possibility to work remotely up to 25%. The ideal start date is as soon as possible, but no later than 19 May 2025.
About the WorkplaceLKDATA is part of the department for Operational Support and Services in Linköping Municipality. Approximately 120 colleagues work at LKDATA to deliver IT services to municipal operations — serving employees, students, and citizens of Linköping. The Technology & Service Unit, comprising about 30 professionals, is responsible for user-near and office-near IT services throughout their lifecycle.
Your RoleAs a 1st line IT Support Technician, you will:
- Provide service and support via phone, chat, and email to municipal employees.
- Manage and document incoming cases in TopDesk.
- Use a well-established knowledge base forstandard troubleshooting.
- Handleincidents, requests, and IT-related questions related to both user-end and office-end hardware and software.

- You will be provided with a laptop by the client.
- Onsite work environment includes: large screen, desk, ergonomic chair, keyboard, mouse, and headset.
- For remote work, the supplier is responsible for ensuring a safe and functional home office setup.
Primary location: LKDATA, Kerstingatan 2, 58213 Linköping. Remote work: Possible up to 25%, depending on agreement with the team lead.
Start Date: No later than 19 May 2025 End Date: 19 November 2025 Contract Length: 6 months, with automatic extensions of 6 + 6 + 6 months unless terminated 1 month prior. Working Hours: 40 hours/week Language Requirement: Swedish (mandatory) Before starting the assignment, the consultant must sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
