Logistics Operation Professional & Trade Compliance Officer

The opportunity

As a Logistics Operation Professional & Trade Compliance Officer, you will be part of PGGA Network Control and you are the crucial link ensuring global shipments arrive on time with the correct documentation, coordinating seamlessly with customers, internal teams, and freight forwarders. Your role demands flexibility, independent prioritization, and a proactive mindset to handle daily supply issues and continuous improvements in a fast-paced, global environment. Success hinges on your ability to collaborate cross-functionally, adhere to quality and safety regulations, and maintain a can-do attitude, always prioritizing exceptional service and commitment to stakeholders.

How you'll make an impact

  • Project overview from a logistics perspective
  • Sales contract terms & Letter of Credit terms and handling
  • Create and compile necessary transportation & material documentation
  • Cost & Risk analysis
  • Inventory Management and Analysis
  • Book transportation and communicate with carriers
  • Order packing material
  • Point of contact for 3rd Party logistics provider
  • Plan handling and timeframe with HE employees and 3rd party warehouse
  • Plan 3rd party inspections
  • Import/Export broker instruction creation in SAP
  • Drive communications with Customer logistics representatives, Customs brokers, Customs representatives & Trade Compliance Officer
  • Export Control analysis & handling for Dual-Use goods documentation
  • Assist internal units as Trade Compliance Officer

Your background

  • Experience in area of transport, shipping, and/or logistics is required
  • Awareness of country of export restrictions & requirements
  • SAP knowledge
  • Previous experience in logistics
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English is required
  • Great collaboration skills and motivated by working in a multicultural and challenging global business environment
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to handle several tasks in parallel under stress and pressure
  • Energetic, curious, and self-confident with strong sense of ownership and maturity to challenge them-self and the organization for continuous improvement and changes
