The role
As our heat pump factory evolve, we are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our production team. This role focuses on developing, managing, and optimizing the equipment and services in the factory. You have the ability to define a directions and work systematically while also being hands-on and work here and now.
You will be reporting to the Production Manager and work closely with the Production team leaders. You lead a skilled Maintenance team and have the responsibility of their work environment, personal safety and competence development.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Oversight
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for manufacturing equipment with focus on OEE, maintenance frequencies, spare parts, total cost of maintenance etc. This includes performing routine inspections to identify and address opportunities and issues proactively, coordinate timely repairs and minimize production downtime.
Equipment Management
- You will be responsible for maintenance when new equipment for production is installed and contribute in different projects. You collaborate with the external suppliers and the procurement team to source cost-effective equipment and services. You oversee the installation of new machinery and manage upgrades.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA and local safety regulations incl conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies. You maintain records for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Work closely with production team leaders to align maintenance schedules with operational needs, troubleshoot and resolve unplanned equipment failures swiftly to minimize disruptions. Your department also contribute to optimize equipment performance to improve production efficiency.
Budget Management
- Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget and monitor expenditures to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
You have
· Relevant technical education and/or +5 years of experience within maintenance or similar area in the manufacturing industry,
· Experience from leading and managing maintenance co-workers and feel comfortable coaching and supporting co-workers.
· Experience and skills in managing different maintenance strategies, tools and systems, for example TPM.
· Knowledge of welding, sheet metal working, polyurethan foaming, brazing, powder coating and assembly.
· If you have worked as an automation-, mechanical- or electrical technician that is meritorious.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, integrity and comfortable to make, and stand for decisions taken.
· Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both written and in speech
· Experience with Office 365 suite, AutoCad, Inventor, PLC programming and Monitor ERP
