Mechanical Engineer to our client within the energy sector

Do you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in a related field? Are you ready to take the next step in your career and apply your skills in a challenging, global environment? We are now looking for someone like you who is driven, solution-oriented, and eager to contribute with expertise in mechanical design, calculations, and technical problem-solving.

Working as a Mechanical Engineer  In this role, you will work with detail design, large assemblies, creating drawings and technical documentation, as well as calculations for HVDC converter station. You will also work with problem solving, have technical discussions with clients, suppliers and work with research and development and product care projects. 

You will have exciting and varied work where you will have contact with both customers and suppliers. Work with global organization within HVDC Service and have development opportunities within the Plants mechanical design areas of calculation and design, as a project engineer.

Desired qualifications:

• You have a mechanical engineering degree or similar
• Good knowledge of NX and 3D-CAD
• Good material knowledge of metallic and polymeric materials
• Fluent in swedish and english, both written and spoken. 

As a person, you are open-minded, curious, and communicative. You have a strong willingness to learn and develop both personally and professionally. You are engaged, solution-focused, and thrive in a collaborative environment where you have frequent contact with both customers and suppliers. 

Meriterous, if you have worked in a global environment and manufacturing industry and/or have been a consultant in mechanical engineering. You are familiar with working with tools like CAD and FEM. 

Being a consultant at Nexer Tech Talent

You will be employed by Nexer Tech Talent and work as a consultant at our client’s site, starting immediately or after the summer. We will support and challenge you throughout the assignment, and you’ll have opportunities to join networking events, inspiring talks, and social activities that strengthen your role within our consultant team. As a senior consultant, you may also act as a mentor — sharing your knowledge and experience with junior colleagues.
