Role Summary

In the role as product manager for battery planning you will be a key member in our newly established section within the Energy Storage Domain. The domain develops the complete battery pack for our electric vehicles, and product planning ensures that we will have competitive propulsion batteries in the future.

The functional manager is positioned in Nürnberg and the legal manager in Södertälje.

This role is a part of TRATON Group R&D, located in Södertälje, Sweden.

Job Responsibilities

In your role you will think ahead, provide relevant impulses for our organization and contribute to our battery component roadmap to deliver outstanding products for TRATON brand customers.

You derive and initiate new global battery product projects in accordance with the strategic market needs of the TRATON brands.

You will run these project initiations together with a motivated cross-functional team. With joint forces you will set-up future battery projects and prepare decisions including customer needs, technical concept, business case evaluation, project/product cost.

Who You Are

  • You have a degree in economics or engineering
  • You demonstrate above-average analytical skills and are passionate about innovations and future trends in the commercial vehicle industry
  • You enjoy working with an international team and are highly motivated to develop personally in an international working environment
  • You have a pragmatic working ethic and a strong ability to handle complex problems and simplify them efficiently
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English for effective communication with a global audience
