Product Planning Manager

The position
As a Product Planning Manager you are a key player within the Product Management team, involved in leading and developing our warehouse products. Your role entails understanding our customers challenges, monitor market trends and technology solutions in the warehouse products area and work towards translating them into ideas, plans and actions to improve our product offer. Our department is also responsible for developing a prioritized product plan and bringing this to the Management Team and related departments for decision and execution. We are responsible for bringing these products to the market together with other functions within Toyota Material Handling and managing the process for an effective product introduction.
As Product Planning Manager you report to the Product Management Group Manager, Andreas Lindsjö.
Your challenge
* Work effectively to improve our market share
* Develop an ongoing plan for our warehouse product range with our product managers, ensuring our products are developed with the right features and solutions in mind for our future customers.
* Lead the execution of new product developments with related department and OEMs.
* Lead product introduction for new products.
* Present our customer benefits during internal and external launches of our product offer
Your profile
* Ideally you have 5-10 years' experience either from a commercial background with technical affinity, or technical background with commercial insight
* Knowledge of internal material handling is useful
* Strong personal drive and commitment, being comfortable driving multiple tasks and manage priorities with a critical mindset.
* You can work with, analyse and process data to form opinion and suggest interpretation.
* You are a clear communicator, and able to work in, as well as lead, cross functional groups.
* You speak and write English fluently and additional languages is an asset.
* Master's degree within technical/ economic area in combination with commercial experience
