About the Position
Ericsson is a world-leading provider of communication technology and services. The Product Engineering Unit Radio is responsible for test development across the full radio product lifecycle – from early research to volume production. We are now recruiting a Radio Test Integration Engineer for our Production Test Development department in Kumla. As part of our team, you will develop, verify, and continuously improve test solutions used in the manufacturing of Ericsson's radio units. These systems are in-house developed and consist of software, electronics, mechanics, and commercial instruments.

This is a consulting assignment via Professionals Nord with an initial duration of 12 months. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Ericsson. The longterm goal is a potential transition to direct employment with Ericsson, based on mutual satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
As a Radio Test Integration Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for creating efficient and reliable production test solutions for Ericsson’s radio products. You will work closely with global design units, and your work will span both hardware and software domains.

Your main tasks include:
  • Analyzing product requirements and defining test specifications
  • Designing, integrating, and verifying production test methods
  • Developing software and hardware tools for test environments
  • Creating interfaces between test software, measurement equipment, and radio hardware
  • Performing verification activities and defining acceptance criteria
  • Supporting prototype bring-up and debugging
  • Creating tools for in-depth measurement data analysis
  • Continuously improving existing test methods in terms of time, cost, and accuracy
  • Providing global production support for test-related issues

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
  • A Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills, especially in MATLAB, Python, and C++
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (Swedish is a plus)
  • Experience in electronics, RF transceivers, and antenna technologies
  • Knowledge of telecom measurement parameters and instrumentation
  • Understanding of software/hardware integration and systemization
