Supplier Quality Engineer with experience in Software

About the role: As an SQE, you will have a full end-to-end ownership of your portfolio. Your input is key to selecting the most suitable supplier for a sourcing award. In this role you will work mainly in the field of connectivity and the suppliers you will assess will mainly come from software and electronics. Your work continues throughout the project to secure a quality assured project launch. Risk management skills will be important through all steps: sourcing, project and running production. The job requires frequent travels during certain periods.

Further you have a great interest in the quality area with a good knowledge of automotive quality standards. Customer satisfaction is important for you while remaining structured and organized.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Engineering or equivalent, and 6 years of work experience needed
• Good knowledge and practice of automotive quality standards and tools, such as IATF 16949, VDA, APQP, PPAP, ISO 9001.
• Knowledge in ASPCE and ISO 26262
• Experience in assessing suppliers in the software and hardware domains
• Experience from supplier quality work
• Good English communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Drivers licence
• Meriting with engineering work
