Job Description:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join the team working on a new savings platform. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in ensuring product quality and delivering a world-class customer experience.
In this role you will work within an agile test team in the SI6 Program and focus on developing and implementing test automation. The role involves being involved in the entire process, from design to scripting, executing and reporting results and defects. You will be working closely with your colleagues in the test team to develop and expand the platforms automated test suites. You will also be part of the work defining our strategies for testing and test automation, ensuring that our customers receive a world-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the following frameworks/tools:
- Playwright (TypeScript) – UI & some API automation
- Selenium (Java) – UI, file validation, reports, and portal testing
- Postman or Insomnia, Swagger – for manual and automated API testing
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Openshift and Jenkins
- Create Jenkinsfiles and manage Openshift namespaces for automation-related projects
- Ensure testing aligns with security and compliance standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment
Requirements:
- 6+ years in software quality assurance and test automation
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Playwright, Selenium (UI automation)
- Postman, Swagger (API testing)
- Java, JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automation scripts
- Creating automation frameworks from scratch
- Understanding of microservices architecture and associated testing strategies
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript testing)
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
