Vision & Machine Learning Specialist Advanced Development

About the role

We're looking for an experienced AI & Computer Vision Specialist to drive innovation in robotic development, guide strategic AI initiatives, and strengthen our technical capabilities. This role blends hands-on development with leadership and collaboration across research and business domains. Key responsibilities include:

  • Improve product performance and efficiency using advanced machine learning and computer vision technologies.
  • Define and align AI initiatives with business goals to support long-term growth and market leadership.
  • Represent the company in partnerships with universities and research institutions, enhancing our visibility and innovation network.
  • Contribute to strategic planning through technology evaluation and team coordination.
  • Develop and deploy innovative algorithms to solve complex, high-impact challenges.
  • Foster continuous learning and upskilling to build long-term technical strength within the team.

About you

We're looking for someone with deep expertise in machine learning and computer vision, who thrives on solving complex problems with analytical precision. You should be comfortable leading technical teams and projects, and able to communicate advanced concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Most importantly, you bring a genuine passion for innovation and collaboration, and a drive to push boundaries together with others.

  • You have a PhD or master in Machine Vision or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), Swedish is a plus

Location

This position will be placed in our site in Huskvarna. With our hybrid working environment, you'll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office 3 days a week.
