IKEA Industry Älmhult AB contributes with more than 200 committed, down-to-earth and engaged employees who annually manufacture about 6 million lacquered fronts for furniture, mainly kitchens. We have a modern, automated production situated in Älmhult, the heart of IKEA.
What you will do?
- Lead and develop our quality assurances and quality controls processes together with the quality assurance team.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, internal standards and customer requirements.
- Manage audits and internal assessment , deviations and follow up to facilitate solutions on findings.
- Share knowledge, build engagement and train your co-workers and organization.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports
- and of course it´s more to be done , improving our way of working in the best interest of IKEA customers.
Who you are
We believe great quality starts with mindset and caring, we think you :
Have experience in a manufacturing environment in a leading role.
Have experience working in established quality systems, preferably from a larger organization, where audits and clear quality reviews – with clear "go" or "no-go" decisions – are a natural part of the work. You are used to handling both internal and external audits and know what is required to meet high quality requirements.
Have Strong analytical skills and good ability to prioritize and make decisions.
Familiarity with, LEAN and continuous improvement frameworks, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, A3, 5Why.
Demonstrated capabilities in Quality Assurance ,Quality Control as well as Quality Management Systems.
Good overall computer skills are essential.
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
You likely have a degree within Engineering or equivalent.
